Did you know that avocado is one of the best food you can possibly eat? It is good for you for about a million reasons:
-They are rich in monounsaturated fat that is easily burned for energy.
-They are high in potasium and balance potassium/sodium ratio.
-They inhibit inflammation caused by protein consumption.
-They help level cholesterol levels.
-They provide over 20 healthy nutrients including fiber, Vit E, Vit B, Folic Acid, etc.
-They produce a feeling of satiation, helping you eat less calories and less “bad fillers”.
Personally, I eat a whole avocado virtually every day, which I usually put in my salad. This increases my healthy fat and calorie intake without seriously increasing my protein or carbohydrate intake.
